A note on Pricing

At Thatch Floral, we handle each event as its own unique design process to unfold. In co-creating an event with our clients, we aim to fulfill your specific needs and help you identify and express your style as a couple. Because all of our events are tailored to each individual client, we are not able to provide a standardized price list for our work. Pricing depends on so many factors, including event location, guest count, seasonality of the flower choices, staffing for the event timeline, and installation supplies and logistics.

However, we know you are trying to wrap your head around how much floral design and décor with our company might cost and we want to be as helpful as possible. So, with regards to budgeting for flowers, linens, and décor here are some general guidelines.

Our minimum for full service design is 15K and due to opening up a second location in Charleston, SC, we are currently not offering a la carte flower options.

After doing many events, we have learned that our designs shine the best when allowed to create luxury and large scale design work.

If this sounds exciting to you we would love to work with you!

We will open up our books December 7th for the 2022 season.

The typical Thatch Floral client, on average, wants the floral and décor to be a significant part of their event. Industry standards show a trend with most couples spending around 10-25% of the entire budget on items such as floral, linens, chairs, furniture, lighting, draping, and other décor items to make their event come to life.

Our minimum order for a wedding usually starts around 15K and goes up from there. This can cover the most basic floral needs for a wedding of about 100 guests with a small wedding party. However, our average wedding tends to be around 20K. This generally includes a full ceremony design with an arbor, aisle design, and full reception design for 100-150 guests. Our full event design packages generally start around 30K and have ranged up to 60K for floral and decor items.

Another approach to arriving at an estimate for floral design budget is to calculate based on your guest count. The typical Thatch Floral client spends between $50-$75 per guest on flowers and décor (including all personal flowers, ceremony, and reception flowers, and installation costs)

If you add in specialty chair rentals, specialty linens, draping, lush and full tabletop floral and décor designs, and custom lighting, the cost will naturally be higher.

We do wedding of all sizes, however popular wedding dates in the Summer and early Fall are typically reserved for larger weddings. We focus on working with clients whose style and personalities are a good fit for our team. We like to work hard and have fun together!

Destination weddings

Destination weddings are our jam! Over the past few years, clients have sought us out for our unique style, commitment to local farmers and our professionalism. We know how to get the job done on a remote island, deserted mountain top, dense forest, private beach, or in the middle of the desert. Our team is always down for a adventure to create beauty regardless of logistical challenges that we may face.

We work closely with couples and event planners to translate each client's unique vision into living, breathing works of art. Each destination wedding is different. We have a minimum of $15k for weddings outside of the Seattle and Charleston areas. Typically, we include travel costs & lodging in your proposal, and we always do our best to find affordable options to be respectful of your budget.

If your venue does not have adequate facilities for us to work (such as a enough space, a sink and air conditioning), we will also budget in an affordable work space and portable refrigeration to keep your flowers looking fresh for the big day. If there is not a local flower market, we can easily ship or pick up flowers from the nearest farm. This sounds expensive, but there's actually not much of a price difference. We love working hard to make our client’s dream wedding possible!
